Bob Murphy is a contemporary multi-media artist who grew up in Roseville and began taking photographs in 1969. His interactive presentation will include contemporary photographs as well as images that he made in Roseville during the 60's and 70's. He will also share a few of the experiences that he had with friends during the days of Roadside, and The Rose Drive-in Theatre. Seen from a contemporary perspective the artwork reveals a time of change as the war in Vietnam went on, the British Invasion had occurred, Feminism was getting started and the Civil Rights movement was underway. Bob's presentation includes something for everybody. His work has been shown at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, The New Museum of Contemporary Art New York and is included in many private and public collections.
